6. Międzynarodowa Konferencja Projektowa AGRAFA’19 – Możliwości/Opportunities

The International Graphic Design Competition, Conference, Exhibition and Workshops are the components of the AGRAFA project, which aims at discussion, exchange of experience and knowledge in the field of graphic design and presentation of the most recent achievements of young designers.

The theme of this year's edition: MOŻLIWOŚCI / OPPORTUNITIES

Opportunities inspire optimism, give strength to act, promise something new.

They also inspire fear about the unknown and its consequences. During the 6th AGRAFA International Design Conference 2019 we will talk about what raises hope and what raises concern.
The context of the meeting is the changing world, political, social and economic situation, but also the lifestyle. We will talk about how we use the extraordinary possibilities of the 21st century and where they can lead us. We will ask for whom or for what reason we design, and we will try to predict what will be the future role of a designer.

As part of the event, we organize Young AGRAFA for the first time.

The focus will be on young designers, as one of the key goals of AGRAFA is to promote young people and their approaches to design in an international environment and to let them speak in the discussion on the possibilities of modern design development. Young AGRAFA will consist of six 15-minute speeches by designers selected from among the submitted applications. The meeting will be led by a respected designer, Rama Gheerawo (Helen Hamlyn Center for Design, RCA).
